How Should I Use My Christian Liberty? | 1 Corinthians 10:23-24

Sermon Summary: There are situations we face in life where there isn’t a clear “better choice,” how should the Christian decide? Pastor Josh discusses the freedom in Christ we have to make decisions, but also the responsibility we have to care for our neighbors.

  1. Our Christian identity is foundational to who we are as a person.

  2. Purpose of our Christian identity:

    • To be like Jesus, not our sinful self.

    • To be a witness

  3. Our Christian freedom should be used to care for others.

  4. Taking your cross is not a comfortable thing. 

  5. Our conscience is a gift from God, used to help guide us in making decisions.
