1. How do you typically feel when you hear the word “no?” Describe your reaction to the way Paul uses negative words here in Romans 8:28-39.

2. Who or what is against you in this life? How does it change your perspective to know that God is for you?

3. Who or what tries to bring a charge against you (for instance, what past mistake or struggle with sin is always rearing its ugly head in your life?) Does knowing that Jesus is interceding for you make a difference? How so?

4. What does it mean that all of God’s promises find their “yes” in Jesus?
